A static widget will appear as a block element on your webpage. Depending where you place the HTML code

within the body tag of your code, you can influence its position as it will populate as a block.
If you selected the floating widget option, the widget will appear on top of your content of the respective container that you placed the HTML code into.

It will be positioned to the bottom left or bottom right of the containing element, depending on your position selection in the dashboard. You can choose different positioning for each created widget.
The inline text widget allows you to only fetch the statistic itself as an inline element. The inline text set-up allows you to seamlessly integrate the statistic into your content flow. You can mention the statistic for example within a paragraph.
