Tree Planting

Discover how tree planting can significantly contribute to carbon offsetting and environmental sustainability. Learn about our global initiatives, the socio-economic benefits for vulnerable communities, and how you can be part of the solution.

Outline

Tree planting involves the strategic planting of trees to restore forests, create new green spaces, and enhance biodiversity.

Our trees are planted around the world by registered NGOs, providing much-needed employment to vulnerable communities. These initiatives ensure that forests are planted in perpetuity and protected by long-term local communities.

How it Works

Trees act as natural carbon sinks, absorbing CO2 during photosynthesis and storing it in their biomass and soil.

By planting trees, we enhance these natural processes, reducing the overall concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Furthermore, reforestation and afforestation projects help rehabilitate degraded lands, improving soil health and promoting ecological balance.

Additionally, our projects include the planting of mangrove trees, which absorb significant amounts of blue carbon, providing additional climate benefits.

Initiatives

Our tree planting initiatives span multiple continents, focusing on areas that have been heavily deforested or degraded.

By partnering with local NGOs, we ensure that the planting efforts are sustainable and provide long-term benefits to the communities involved. These projects offer employment opportunities, contributing to local economies and fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility towards the newly planted forests.

Mangroves

Mangrove trees are particularly effective at absorbing blue carbon, which is carbon stored in coastal and marine ecosystems.

Mangroves sequester carbon at rates up to four times higher than terrestrial forests. They also provide critical habitat for marine life, protect coastlines from erosion, and enhance fisheries. Our mangrove planting projects are located in coastal regions where they can have the greatest environmental impact.
