We’ve come a long way since SKOOT was founded in 2019, and we’ve planted 300k trees with the help of our amazing community. We could not be more grateful.
Tree planting is becoming more mainstream and hence the demand for both tree planting and carbon credits is increasing. This has resulted in the cost of taking climate action increasing rapidly too. Ultimately, this is a good thing for the planet because it means offsetting will cost more and encourage businesses to look more at how they can avoid emissions - the most important part of lowering our footprints.
With this, the cost of some of our solutions is changing. The tree price for all simple-self service integrations will increase to 24p. The tree price for the Hospitality Solution will be 30p. We are also excited to announce that there will be an additional option coming to plant trees in the Amazon at a price of 50p.
Despite the increase we have every confidence, we will continue to increase our impact - we won't let this hold us back although an increase was something that we would have liked to have avoided.
There's still so much we want to achieve for the planet and that's why your support means so much to us.
